She dedicated her life to the service of others. A British Army Medic posted to Afghanistan has her whole future, as she'd envisioned, blown up in an improvised explosive device (IED) and lives to tell the tale.
In this special edition of Under the Rug, you will hear a first-hand account of what it was like for Army Veteran Martha Prinsloo to not only survive a horrific bomb explosion, but to fight for survival everyday since.
Because of her fight, she has been nominated to compete in the Invictus Games, established by Prince Harry the Duke of Sussex, which is being hosted in Germany in September 2023.
